Thank you for your interest in the Eton Excelsior Rowing club (EERC) and Windsor Girls' School (WGS) Summer Rowing Camps
All Juniors will be coached by 2 GB Olympians.
EERC Head Junior Coach & Double GB Olympian, John Collins will lead the sessions. He will be supported by GB Olympic Gold & Silver Medallist & World Champion Jacob Dawson
John and Jacob will provide full instruction and coaching during the week, supported by our existing Junior rowers.
These are open to Girls and Boys in Years 7-13 (ages 11-18) who are competent swimmers. (Please contact me if your child is in Year 6)
The 5-day camps will comprise of rowing on-water, Gym & Ergo sessions and games. These will be run from the EERC Clubhouse, 14 Maidenhead Road, Windsor, SL4 5TY.
The price includes a T-shirt, water bottle and completion certificate!
Summer Rowing Camps will run 09:00-15:00, Monday to Friday for 3 weeks (27-31 July, 3-7 August and 10-14 August)
Day 1 will include mandatory water safety drills (controlled capsize & 50m swim) which must be completed annually to be allowed out on-water. If your Junior has already completed these with us during Easter or on our Year 7+ courses, they do not need to repeat them (unless they want to!)
All rowing abilities are welcome - beginners as well as those with previous rowing experience.

EERC Junior Programme
The EERC Junior Programme provides rowing for Windsor Girls' School and Girls and Boys attending local schools in Windsor, Slough, Ascot, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
For Girls moving or going to Windsor Girls' School, our Summer Camp will enable you to get started with rowing ahead of our next intake in September 2026
