Join us this October for five days of fun, active and engaging indoor cricket at Bath Cricket Club!
Our U10 - U13 October Cricket Camp will take players on a journey around the cricketing world, with each day inspired by a different country and a different style of cricket.

๐ TuesdayโThursday โ Mixed | Ages 9โ13
Across the week, players will experience batting, bowling, fielding, wicketkeeping, running between the wickets, tactics and plenty of fun indoor games.
All sessions will take place indoors.

๐ฌ๐ง Exploring the Game
All Girls | Ages 10โ13
Weโll start the week with a fun and varied introduction to indoor cricket.
Players will have the opportunity to try a wide range of cricket skills and activities, including:
- ๐ Batting games and challenges
- ๐ฏ Bowling and target games
- ๐ Catching and fielding
- ๐งค Wicketkeeping activities
- ๐ Running between the wickets
- ๐ฅ Power hitting
- ๐ณ Throwing and stump-hitting
- ๐ฒ Fun small-sided cricket games
The focus will be on enjoying the game, developing confidence and trying different areas of cricket, with activities adapted to suit different abilities.

Fast, Aggressive & Competitive
Mixed | Ages 10โ13
Inspired by Australiaโs reputation for fast bowling, aggressive batting and high-quality fielding.
Players will explore:
- โก Fast bowling and bowling with intent
- ๐ฏ Bowling accurate lines and lengths
- ๐ฅ Attacking batting
- ๐ Reaction and catching challenges
- ๐ณ Fast, accurate throwing
- ๐ Scoring quickly and putting pressure on the opposition
The day will finish with fast-paced indoor games, putting the skills into practice.
๐ฎ๐ณ Wednesday 28th October โ India
Spin, Skill & Creativity
Mixed | Ages 10โ13
Inspired by Indiaโs strength in spin bowling, creative batting and technical skill.
Players will explore:
- ๐ Spin bowling
- ๐ Playing spin
- ๐ฏ Using different areas of the hall to score
- ๐ง Reading the bowler and making decisions
- ๐ Close catching
- ๐ Smart running between wickets
- ๐ก Creative batting challenges
The afternoon will feature small-sided games and challenges, where players can put their skills and decision-making into practice.
๐ฟ๐ฆ Thursday 29th October โ South Africa
Pace, Power & Athletic Fielding
Mixed | Ages 10โ13
South Africa will provide the inspiration for a day focused on athleticism, pace and powerful cricket.
Players will work on:
- โก Pace bowling
- ๐ Power hitting
- ๐ฏ Bowling accuracy
- ๐ High-energy fielding
- ๐ Speed and running between wickets
- ๐ณ Throwing and direct-hit challenges
- ๐ง Attacking and defensive tactics
Players will finish the day with competitive indoor cricket games, bringing together the skills from the day.
๐ฉท Friday 30th October โ Girls Cricket Day
๐ A Celebration of Cricket
All Girls | Ages 10โ13
Weโll finish the week with another girls-only day celebrating the many different sides of cricket.
Players will get the opportunity to revisit and try different skills from throughout the week, including:
- ๐ Batting
- ๐ฏ Bowling
- ๐ Fielding
- ๐งค Wicketkeeping
- ๐ Running between wickets
- ๐ฅ Power hitting
- ๐ Spin
- โก Pace
- ๐ง Cricket games and challenges
There will be plenty of fun small-sided games and team activities, giving everyone the chance to get involved regardless of their experience or ability.
Weโll finish the week with some fun camp challenges and recognise players for their effort, teamwork, improvement and enjoyment throughout the camp.
๐ Equipment
Players should bring:
- Cricket kit
- Indoor trainers
- Water bottle
- Lunch
Hardball cricket equipment can be provided by Bath Cricket Club if required, with the exception of a box. Players who have their own equipment are welcome to bring it.
The camp is designed to be fun, active and inclusive, with a mixture of skill development, games, challenges and match play throughout the week.
Players donโt need to be at a particular playing level โ activities will be adapted to suit different abilities.
